What kind of Queens do you sell?

We sell both mated and non-mated Italian/Carniolan Mix queens.

When do you sell Mated Queens?

April to June

How often do you change your Queens?

We change our Queens every 1-2 years.

How do I introduce my new Queen to the hive?

We sell them in the JZ-BZ Queen cage with candy, all you have to do is leave it in your hive for a day, check back after if its doing okay inside the cage and then open up the cap so the bees in the hive eat through it and get the Queen out, DO NOT just let the queen out right away, she must be accepted first.

Italian/Carniolan Mix

Do you feed your bees with syrup?

Yes, we have to extra prepare them for winter, winter can be brutal for all beekeepers.

Are your bees good for honey?

Every year we pump gallons on gallons of honey so I would say yes!

Honey

What type of honey do you have?

We have wildflower, almond, and sometimes raspberry, all depending on the year.

What sizes of honey do you sell?

We sell our honey anywhere from 1 lb - 1 gallon size wise.

Where do I store my honey?

You should store it at room temperature.

Nucs

How many frames come in your Nuc?

We sell 5 frame Nucs.

Do mated Queens come with your Nucs?

Yes we include a mated Queen in all our Nucs.

How many frames of bees are in your Nucs?

We always make sure we have 3.5-4 frames of bees in our Nucs.
